Skincare Products Vs. Homemade Acne Treatment
Thursday, January 8, 2009
Skincare products or homemade acne treatment? Which should we go for when pimples are a true nuisance? There are various ways of dealing with acne and the most common and within reach is that of buying ready-made over-the-counter products that are advertised as solutions to skin problems. On the other hand, a homemade acne treatment takes more time to make and use since you have to prepare the ingredients and follow certain steps for the application. What about efficiency and safety?
Some skincare products aggravate acne
Regular skincare products include a wide range of chemical substances meant to give them the creamy soft texture we so much appreciate. There are also colorants and perfumes that are further added to the composition. The rest are the so-called active ingredients that will get you rid of acne. There have been cases when the treatments have aggravated the acne instead of curing it by the irritative effect of some of the ingredients.
Therefore, why not use those elements that you know to be clean, pure and efficient in their natural form. Thus, a homemade acne treatment will have all the advantages promised by a famous skincare product and more. Instead of buying some chamomile cream why not use the plant as such to wash your face with twice a day? The same thing holds valid for a lemon-extract cream; if this citric fruit is known for its positive effects against acne, why not take advantage of the fresh lemon juice to get rid of zits?
Suggestions for homemade acne treatment solutions
Herbs, fruits and vegetables represent the main ingredients of any homemade acne treatment. Natural fresh juices have soothing and regenerating properties as well as the power to stop infections and detoxify the system. Aloe vera and cucumber calm the redness and the irritations associated with acne, zinc oxide will disinfect and put a stop to the spreading of the zits, and this is just to give a few examples of what lies out there within one's reach.
The list of homemade acne treatment varieties is very large; all it takes is patience to investigate and a little effort to put the knowledge into practice. A green diet or a detox diet is also the one to give the answer to the internal problem that could lie behind acne. It has worked like a charm for many who have tried this approach so don't miss out.

Perfect Skincare Tips for Men

Skincare
Some of you might think that skincare routines are for ladies. If you are into business like me, fetching million dollar deals are worth the time spend than doing your own facial cleansing and routine checkup. But dont ever forget that your first impression always last longer in your customers head than you would expect. A good looking with nice clean facial skin may prove to be your ultimate prerequisite in striking your negotiation deal. Here are some of the dos and donts in getting the perfect skin.
Do exercise. Physically fit people look good and feel good. Exercise improves internal circulation to bring oxygen and nutrients to the skin. This makes skin firmer and better nourished, as well as slows down aging. Regular exercise also helps improve your appearance, prolong your life, build self-confidence and reshape your figure. Your improved circulation will help to calm the nerves and promote a more revitalizing sleep. Move more, feel younger, and look better!
Do use products. Cleanse your face everyday with cleanser, toner and moisturizer.
There are literally hundreds and hundreds of different brands and makes to choose from, but always use products suitable for your skim type, whether it is oily or dry. Have a good consultation from the skincare expert to determine the best suitable type of product for your skin.
Do drink water. A major cause of skim winkles is water loss from the skim.
Water hydrates skin, keeping it moist, soft and supple. Drink at least 6 to 8 glasses of water a day. If you are like me, bring a small bottle of water in your briefcase so you can always have water to drink whenever you go.
Do rest. Lack of sleep makes your skin look dry and dull, and your eyes will become puffy. When we dont have enough sleep or rest, we feel tired and listless. We need an average of 8 hours of sleep every night, but many of us have only 5 to 6 hours. The effects of inadequate sleep will start to show as you age.
Do eat properly. Keep your vitamin up by eating at least 5 portions of fruits or vegetables daily. If you are not getting enough vitamins from good, take multivitamin supplements. Stay away from fatty foods, as they will make your skin greasy.
Dont smoke. Smoking restricts blood flow to and from the skin, and adds to toxin levels. It also robs the skin of its vitality and potential for being smooth and attractive. People who smoke tend to have pallid complexion and skin that wrinkles prematurely.
Dont drink too much alcohol. Alcohol can dehydrate the skin and impede circulation. This depletes the skins moisture content and interrupts the flow of vitamins and minerals needed for a healthy complexion.
Dont stress out. Stress is bad for your physical and mental health, and also bad for your skin. It can cause your face to suffer breakouts of pimples, inflammation and make it look sensitive and dull. Relax!
Dont fry in the sun. Use a high factor sunscreen with SP15 or higher rating when the suns rays are strongest. Its best to avoid the suns rays whenever possible. Dont overdo sun beds as they can also damage your skin, cause dryness and increase the risk of skin cancer. The safest sun tan is to get a fake one.
If you are female, always remove makeup before going to bed, because makeup left on overnight is a major cause of clogged pores that lead to blackhead formation and pimple breakouts. Cleanse twice after removing makeup once for removing surface impurities, another time for deep pore cleansing.
Never use soap because its harshness upsets the PH balance and removes the natural moisture barrier of your skin. Use a soap-free, acid-balanced cleanser instead. If you like the lathering effect of soap, search for a foaming, lathering cleanser.
Lukewarm water is best for cleansing. Water that is too cold or too hot can cause dehydration, irritation and may increase breakouts. Apply a non-astringent toner after cleansing to rehydrate your skin and to reestablish the PH balance.

Facial Products For Anti-Aging Skin Care Regime
Monday, April 21, 2008
Another customer care call. You wanted to hang it up, but what did the girl say? Is she speaking about skincare products? Yes she is and you start listening to what she is saying! Women are always inquisitive about facial products and skin care regime. They always want to achieve better skin texture.
It’s true that there is nothing as ultimate when it comes to skin care. One should change her facial products as she ages. However, too much experimentation with your skin may be dangerous in the long run. Your skin can take a toll once you enter your 30’s.
Facial skincare product sellers promise so many things that it is indeed difficult to control the spree. However, skin care is science, not magic! I would ask women to have little more patience before buying and applying new facial products.
Among all types of skin care products, anti-aging solutions seem to be most popular. Aging is a process that is irreversible; hence everybody tries to hold their young days back. Some facial products may really help you delay aging and stop premature aging. Cosmetic treatments and surgery may also help women rejuvenate their skin even when the aging process has begun.
Natural skin care products are always good. Natural products do not have any side effect; hence there is no harm in using organic facial products. Chemical based products may damage skin if not used properly or overused; but that risk is not there when you are under natural skin care regime.
Skin Biology and Aging:
With age skin undergoes a lot of changes. Collagen and Elastin are the proteins act like building block of human skin. These connective tissues define how your skin would look like. Toned tissues keep your skin smooth and stunning.
When people get older collagen and elastin tear off. This makes your skin slack and loose with wrinkles and puffiness. If collagen abolition is not arrested timely, you may lose your skin texture forever.
Though aging process is influenced by genetic structure, sun burn is said to be the major cause of aging process. Exposure to harsh sun rays damages human skin a lot. Hence, sunscreen should always be there in your facial skin care regime right from the childhood.
Anti-aging Facial Products:
It is easy to guess why anti-aging solutions are so popular among women. Cosmetic product manufacturers and researchers are developing new products almost everyday. However, natural products are reported to work best.
Organic products are made from extracts of herbs, flowers, leaves, sandal wood, Aloe Vera, jojoba, papaya, milk and other natural products. You can certainly understand why natural products have no side effects; the ingredients are collected from nature and they do not affect human body harshly.
Understand the product before using it:
Ask, read and research about your facial products. The ingredients of facial skin care products define the power of the product. Natural products are safe and useful in the long run. Always read the literature of the products before buying it. Make it a habit. This will help you pick the right skin care for yourself.
Anti-aging regime is quite popular these days. Who wants to look older? None I guess. To stop aging you need to use something and it is always better to go green with natural products than chemical based artificial products.

What you Need to Know About Skin Care Product Labels
Monday, January 7, 2008
When you shop for an aromatherapy body lotion, or other skin care product, you might look at the label to see what it’s made of in the hope of determining how it will affect your skin. Yet, if you are like the rest of the population, you probably have little idea what those ingredients on the label actually do! Your next course of action may be to read the claims on the package. Unfortunately, as this article will teach you, you can’t always rely on these claims as there are few, if any, government standards and enforcement associated with them, which can create a problem for you, the consumer, particularly, as you will learn, if you are buying an aromatherapy skin care product.
Claim 1: Dermatologist Tested
This is a great claim that is made by beauty products to breed confidence in you, the user. For instance, it could say, “Tested by a dermatologist on dry skin.” Unfortunately, while this claim sounds good, it gives you really little useful information. To begin with, you wouldn’t have the faintest idea which dermatologist was responsible for the testing and analysis. Further, you most likely wouldn’t know the qualifications of said dermatologist. You could rightfully ask yourself, with no answer, “Did this dermatologist have experience with testing? Was she well educated? “ Also, you wouldn’t have the foggiest what said dermatologist actually tested for. Finally, without a huge amount of research, if it were even possible, you couldn’t tell who funded the tests. If the consumer product company that manufactured the skin care product you are looking to buy paid for the testing, it would be difficult for it to be an unbiased test.
Claim 2: Hypoallergenic Product
According to Dictionary.com, hypoallergenic is defined as, “designed to reduce or minimize the possibility of an allergic response, as by containing relatively few or no potentially irritating substances.” Unfortunately, there is no government enforced or encoded standard that a company has to meet to make this claim. This is made more troubling with any aromatherapy skin care product. That’s because any such product contains essential oils, which, when applied to the skin, can cause severe reactions in certain people, assuming they have an allergy to the particular essential oil in use.
Claim 3: Laboratory Tested
Like Dermatologist Tested, Laboratory Tested provides little value. You’d have neither knowledge of the lab’s qualifications, nor what it tested for. For example, the laboratory might not have tested for an allergy that you have, which is, again, particularly troublesome when buying an aromatherapy skin care product. Additionally, without knowledge of who funded the test, you couldn’t tell how impartial it was.
Unfortunately, given the complex ingredients found in skin care products, you often have to rely on the benefits and claims made by the manufacturer. But, as you learned, claims including Dermatologist Tested, Hypoallergenic, and Laboratory Tested offer little meaning for you. Consequently, it’s important that you not only research the product online, but also, if concerned, ask your doctor about it. Let’s face it, your skin is important, which is why you are willing to pay for expensive aromatherapy body lotion or other specialized skin care products. So, to keep your skin looking nice, research your products before you buy and apply.

Monday, August 20, 2007
Sweat- Types
We have two types of sweat glands-aporcrine and eccrine. We are born with eccrine glands. But we produce apocrine glands simply after puberty. The apocrine glands develop a distinct sort of sweat. This sweat is much of oily issue. The eccrine sweat is much of water.
Apocrine sweat and pheromones - The apocrine sweat is supposed to carry pheromones. Pheromones draw the opposite sexuality to us. In our pursuit to odor better, we withdraw all the apocrine sweat and along with that all the pheromones. We withdraw what nature gave us to draw.
Body smell and attraction - You can hold system smell off by keeping the skin dry of eccrine sweat. That will halt the bacterium develop smell with eccrine sweat.
Sweat is considered a trouble by all us. We equalize sweat with the odor and the disorder. This is why we buy anti-perspirants and deodorizers to feel good. Is it always good for us? What would you say attraction of the opposite sex having to sweat?

Lost in the Maze of Anti-aging Skincare Choices? Discover what Doctors Do for Their Own Skincare
Tuesday, July 24, 2007

When it comes to erasing facial lines and reducing wrinkles, the network is an apparent resource for researching your skincare product options and anti-aging handling alternatives.
The challenge: almost every website maintained by skincare experts and product firms assure fast, simple, and pain-free ways to seem 10 years younger. Obviously there’s a hype element when it comes to skincare; therefore, how better to discover away what truly works?
I decided one manner to undertake this doubt was to request outstanding skin experts what they do for their own skincare and anti-aging treatments, as easily as what they may make in the future. I began with a leading expert in minimally intrusive skin treatments, Dr. Virginia Stevens from the Hypatia Clinic located in Woodinville, Washington.
Dr. Stevens operates one of the largest skin handling centers in Pacific Northwest. Her practice covers many of today’s almost favorite anti-aging treatments including Thermage and Thread lifts.
When it comes to her own skincare, Dr. Stevens is fast to aim away her stake in Thermage. Thermage is a device that has electrodes that present wireless frequency vitality pulses to the skin surface. This vitality is meant to ignite layers of rind, thereby increasing collagen output. Collagen is the part of your rind tissue that degrades with age, giving hike to wrinkles and facial lines.
According to Dr. Stevens, “Thermage work really easily for patients. You construct collagen with treatments like Thermage. The collagen you take is yours to hold, however it begins to age the time it's created. So having Thermage every 18 months to two years is a really better thought for your cheek and neck. Even though we all aspire for lasting seam solutions, Dr. Stevens is a pragmatist when it comes to her own aging and when setting expectations with her clients. "Nothing can be lasting because your cheek aging characteristics are not lasting. You're ever going to age. Your skin is going to age and show that aging as collagen dislocation. So you need to have original collagen.
” Dr. Stevens remains uncommitted about whether she would suffer an cosmetic surgery process like a facelift or blepharoplasty. “I can't tell that I would never get a postoperative process done. At this level I would not. If I got to a level where non-invasive procedures had no consequence for some cause I would regard operation. ”

The Truth About Skincare Products-They Put THAT In My Skincare!
Friday, June 15, 2007
The skin is the largest body of our body. Like the lungs, the skin "breathes" inside and outside, the food returning and of toxins to release. You could have noted a tendency in pharmaceutical industry in which more and more of the regulations are offered in a "patch" or gel form. It is because research shows that that the presentation of the substances by the skin is an effective and regular manner to enter to medicines necessary directly blood circulation. That's great news when it comes to medicine, but what does that mean to us regarding skin care? It means that we must put two important questions about the products which we choose to employ to increase our skin: What's in it? and Is it helpful or harmful?
More than 10.000 chemicals are employed like ingredients in products of care of skin in all industry. The national institute of professional safety determined that 900 of those are not very sure and others have to be still examined for safety. In Europe, more than 400 were prohibited for the use but much of those can still be found in the products on our racks of store of grocer, drug and natural food. While some skin care companies claim products are "all natural", or "anti-aging", they may still contain ingredients that are potentially harmful and promote breakdown of the skin, like some natural and synthetic preservatives, suspected carcinogens, drying alcohols, synthetic fragrances and dyes.
While the beauty may not be "skin deep", to maintain in the spirit that your products of care of skin penetrate deep beyond the skin and can affect your long-term health and aspect. To be a customer educated of care of skin will ensure you obtain the best produced to increase your skin and to protect your health.
They put that in my care of skin?
According to Breast Cancer Fund (http://www.breastcancerfund.org), are chemicals employed like condom to prevent the growth of the bacteria and the moulds. Parabens are known to disturb the function endocrinienne (hormone). More than 12 recent studies of research showed that parabens had the estrogenic activity once applied to the skin - they raise levels of oestrogen which risk of increase in certain cancers.
Recent research detected five intact types of parabens in the human tumours of centre, an indication that the parabens penetrate the skin and remain in fabric of centre.
The studies of the animals indicate that the parabens can also affect the antenatal development of the male reproductive system. Parabens are not only in the care of skin. They are found in many personal products of care such as deodorizers, shampoos, etc. Therefore, researchers show concern for "daily, chronic exposure" and the cumulative effect of this exposure.
Here's a list of 7 reasons why "The Dirty Dozen" (or so) chemicals found in many of our "daily use" products should be avoided.
1. Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cocamide DEA/Lauramide DEA, Petrolatum
- May contain harmful impurities or form toxic breakdown that can lead to cancer
2. Propylparaben, Ethylparaben, Methylparaben, Petrolatum (vaseline), Mineral Oil, Coal Tar, Cocamide DEA/Lauramide DEA, Petrolatum, Talc, Toluene, Triethanolamine, Formaldehyde
- Potential breast cancer risk
3. Propylparaben, Ethylparaben, Methylparaben, Butylparaben, Isobutylparaben
- Endocrine (hormonal) disrupter and potential breast cancer risk
4. Propylparaben, Ethylparaben, Methylparaben, Butyl Acetate, Butylated Hydroxytoluene, Ethylacetate, Petrolatum, Toluene, Formaldehyde, Butylacetate
- Skin sensitizer (causes rashes, immune system reactions, hives, burning, scaling, blistering)
5. Propylene Glycol, Phythalates
- Gastrointestinal and liver toxicity
6. Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Sodium Laureth
- Penetration enhancer (alters skin structure to allow chemicals to penetrate deeper into the skin and bloodstream)
7.Phthalates, Talc, Toluene, Formaldehyde
- Reproductive or developmental harm

The Lure Of the Perfect Antiaging Skincare Treatment
Saturday, June 2, 2007

In this age of anti aging we can find many promises in the skin care market that give use hope that we have found the perfect anti-aging skin care treatment. Most women and even men are now highly motivated to hiding or removing the appearance of lines and wrinkles. We no longer admire the older generation. We actually tend to look down on people who look old or even look their age. We consider that people who have managed to fight aging well are people that are successful and to be admired. If someone does not attempt to fight aging then they are considered weak by some and we actually feel sorry for them. There is no such thing as growing old gracefully anymore, we have to fight it all the way and we are not happy to look our age but have to look younger than we really are.
Antiaging Skincare Treatment Can Help
Skin care treatment can help fight aging but the trick is to know which antiaging skincare treatment is the right choice for you? The market has produced many different creams that, when applied to the face, will remove or hide wrinkles through various chemical processes. There is a wide array of creams, oils, and ointments available from all kinds of places from health food stores to department stores to aromatherapy spas. The main thing that most people look for in choosing between these many products is that they want them to use natural ingredients where possible.
A couple of important creams that are known to be effective are:
1. Microdermabrasion 2. Vitamin K Cream
Microdermabrasion
This has become an extremely popular antiaging skincare treatment involving facial creams. Microdermabrasion is treatment that makes use of a lotion that includes micro beads to remove the outer layers of dead skin that can build up and make wrinkles look worse. Fine crystals or beads scrub the dead and damaged skin from the surface leaving a smother, softer looking skin surface. This treatment is used extensively for anti aging skin care treatments and also for problems with acne skin.
Vitamin K
Using Vitamin K cream has become very popular in recent years. This cream has been used for many different skin complaints but is increasingly being used for anti aging treatment. It is said to help diminish spider veins that will often appear with aging as the skin becomes thinner. A popular way to use Vitamin K cream is to use it on blotchy areas of the face and also on the dark circles which often appear under eyes as we age.
Often you will see a claim that a company has the ultimate cream that will remove redness, lighten pigmentation, smooth wrinkles, remove fine lines and generally fight the signs of aging. Sometimes this "magic" cream is nothing more than Vitamin K cream. They may have added components that will conceal the aging skin problems rather than actually heal them.
Get Advice
It is a good idea to consult a professional about antiaging skincare treatment. Professionals come in many different fields. Of course, there are dermatologists who can do the more involved processes but also the various dermabrasions and peels are now available at many spas and even in good effective at-home products. The best way to find a skin treatment that works for you is to ask around your friends and find something that has worked for someone else. Also don't be afraid to give something a try, see if they have samples or if they will demonstrate it on your skin so that you know at least that you will not react to it. If it is fine then go ahead and try it. Remember to give it a fair trial period, nothing works in one day so allow enough time to see the improvements evolve and you will find your perfect antiaging skincare treatment.

In fact if you were to ever stumble into their bathroom you would be sure to find that they would have a myriad of creams and lotions lining their bathroom cabinet drawers. Using the wrong skincare routine or products can actually exacerbate your acne breakouts and may unduly cause unnecessary suffering. So if you are looking to find a good skincare routine that will help reduce your acne breakout you need to first figure out what skin type you have. You either fall into the category of dry, oily or a combination of the two skin types. And determining which one you fall into can be hugely advantageous in determining the best skincare routine for you.
Once you have worked out your skin type you then need to purchase products that would be best suited to your skin type. The general skin regiment to follow is to use a good cleansing product that is gentle on the face. You don't want to purchase any cleansing product that is abrasive or has micro beads that could irritate the skin. The product marked gentle cleansers are your best bet.
You will then need to pick out a good toner and moisturizer. With the moisturizer, if you have oily skin you will want to purchase one that is either oil free or marked for oily skin types.
During your daily face cleansing routine you will want to use warm or tepid water. You want to avoid hot or cold extremes when rinsing your face as this could cause unnecessary dryness and irritation. With your face cleaning routine you will want to do this twice daily. Any more frequent then this and you may be doing yourself more harm than good as this could lead to dryness of the skin and irritation which are often the cause of acne breakouts. Gentle cleansing is the keyword so scrubs and sponges for the rest of your body.
Now that your face is cleansed its time to apply the toner. Mild toners are great to provide that cleansed feeling and help to close the pores. Take into consideration that most toners are not strong enough to clean makeup residue so if you do have traces of makeup still on you will want to have that cleaned before applying your toner.
Now it's time to apply your moisturizer. Be sure to apply a good sunscreen on if you are going to be spending time outside. If you keep to this routine daily then the incidence of acne breakouts will be greatly reduced.

(skincare)Profits-Pure and Natural
Sunday, May 27, 2007
As men has evolved from the cave area to modern technology he has ever but so slowly gotten away from the natural elements that was provided for his very existence.
All over this country people are getting back to the basics and to the natural way of living. Some are giving up the hustle and bustle, going back to the simple life, others are eating healthier , while others still are making conscious efforts in being careful with what they put on their skin and bodies.
God has given us this planet and the natural resources for our health and well being. Time after time we buy products that are filled with harmful chemicals. Sometime we are aware of the harmful effects, other times we are not. Who can keep up with our busy schedule. On the label are ingredient we are unfamiliar with scientific names we even can't pronounce.
Some products claim they are natural, some say pure. But according to the government only 5% of a substance has to be in the product to be called pure. Is 5% beneficial to the body? Others have natural ingredients but are also filled with other harmful chemicals.
We buy these products to improve our health, looks, etc. One of the major purchases in the country is beauty and skincare products. Many products are filled with mineral oil, paraffin wax, carnauba wax, lanolin, petroleum, fragrances, SD 40 alcohol, dyes and other fillers. Is this what you call natural? Is this what you call pure? When looking for a good beauty and skincare regimen look for products with none of the above ingredients. Some of the ingredients has been mention by American Medical Association as unsafe and they are still being used.
There is money to be made with natural and pure products that really are natural and pure. The potential is enormous. The gate is alway open. The skincare and beauty industry is a billion dollar industry. If skincare products are bought and sold why not get the natural instead of one filled with chemicals for the same price. Your pocketbook can suffer by continuing using harmful ingredients or your pocketbook and bank account can increase greatly with this new wave for natural and pure products. Pure Profits.

Skincare - A Foundation for Beauty
In my role as a beauty consultant I am constantly surprised by the number of people who, when asked about their skincare routine, simply don't have one!
If more people followed the basic skincare routine I have laid out below, there would be less people who need to seek specialist advice for, for example, a special occasion such as a wedding, party, or even just for day-to-day skincare issues.
I usually like to have an initial consultation with a bride at least six months before her wedding for that very reason - if there are lots of skincare issues to be addressed, it can take some time to achieve the glowing complexion they are looking for. And I also think that the run-up to a wedding (which can be as long as you like!) is a great excuse to pamper yourself!
There is a saying -"It takes 21-30 days to develop a habit". If you set yourself a goal of performing a basic skincare routine for 21-30 days, at the end of that time you will find it has become second nature and will be quite hard to break. I have outlined below a simple routine which, once established, takes only a few minutes each day:
Daily:
Cleanse, tone and moisturise twice daily, morning and night. You should be doing this already, but if you are not you will see and feel a difference very quickly.
There are also many supplemental products available which you can use for an extra moisture boost if your skin is dry or for spot treatments if the need is there.
If you have dark circles under the eyes, it is worth investing in a good eye cream. Also, drinking more water will help to plump up the skin cells and reduce the darkness under the eyes.
Weekly:
Exfoliate once/twice a week with an exfoliator containing microscopic polishing beads, not crushed kernels or similar as these can scratch the surface of the skin and may cause inflammation/infection in susceptible individuals, e.g. those with sensitive skin.
Apply a face masque once/twice a week (on a different day to exfoliating) with either a hydrating or a deep cleansing masque, depending on your skin type or current needs. I always recommend keeping both kinds of masque so that if your skin feels like it needs a thorough cleanse you can use the deep cleansing, but if it has a day where it feels dry you can use a hydrating masque for an extra moisture boost.
Monthly:
A monthly facial is good but NOT in the week before a wedding or special event. A facial will bring out the impurities in your skin and you don't want to be fighting off spots and blemishes when you have a big occasion coming up! You will probably feel stressed enough in the run-up to the occasion without having spotty skin to deal with as well!
AND FINALLY ...
Don't forget your lips - when you brush your teeth, rub your toothbrush (without toothpaste!) GENTLY over your lips to remove any dry/flaky skin, then apply lipsalve or Vaseline.
Once you have established your skincare routine and can see the improvement in your skin, you can start to think about the make-up you want to apply to your newly glowing complexion! I feel another article coming on!

Searching for the Ultimate Antiaging Skincare Product
Sunday, May 13, 2007

It may seem unbelievable but in my search for the secret to the best antiaging skincare product, I found my self traveling to many interesting and mysterious places. I visited the cool crisp mountains of the Swiss Alps, the hot, beautiful african jungles and the ancient, rich ungerground domains of some of the most secret Egyptian tombs. At the end of my search I was surprised with what I had learned and realised that I had learned far more than which antiaging skincare product to look for.
The Power of Tea
I discovered many things but one thing that kept coming up all around the world was the claim that a high quality green tea product was one answer to my search for an antiaging skincare product. Tea is an ancient drink that has been used for centuries and many of us know and love tea in various forms. Green Tea is considered by many to be a health food because it has so many benefits one of which is the properties that help with detoxification. Many claim that green tea helps with anti aging, helps protect against cancer, helps to prevent heart disease, gum disease, and even has been said to help with the weight loss battle as well.
Back To Antiaging Skincare Product
To get a little technical for a moment, we need to discuss what is in the tea that helps the antiaging process. Tea conatains polyphenols that do a significant amount of work. These polyphenols effectively fight against the signs of aging by keeping our bodies healthy inside. These are known as catechins. There are many different catechins in tea and it is these catechins that perform the bulk of the effects.
Why green tea?
Green tea has almost twenty times the amount of catechins in it that black tea has. Green tea elevates the antioxidant effects of your skin, cells and even blood by allowing it to fight the devastating aging that is caused constantly by the effect of oxygen on the body cells. This means that the higher the level of polyphenols in a product that you have working for you, the greater the anti aging effect on your skin. It may sound like an an unusual method in terms of your skincare routine, especially when we live in a world filled with expensive lotions and creams, but it is exciting to think that it is possible that, maybe, the best antiaging skincare product out there could be something you could just drink. Of course a really important point to remember is that while you are taking care of your skincare needs you will also be benefitting your body because the green tea will not only help your skin but all the cells of your body. It seems that it is becoming widely accepted that green teas actually do help us with our skincare and our search for having young looking skin.
Information Is The Best
As I searched for information on I realised that the search became almost as important, if not more important than the search for the ultimate antiaging skincare product. In my search around this varied world, I became amazed with the quantity of information that is available about the skin already and I came to realize that we should be using that information to our advantage first and leave the search for the ulitmate skin cream until last. While we must always take care of the surface of our skin, we must remember that it is a living organ and if we can have an effect at the cellular level where the skin is formed then we will be much more effective in our fight against antiaging. It may turn out that our best weapon to fight the signs of aging could just turn turn out to be education. Now that is a thought!

What Is Genuine Organic Skincare?
Sunday, May 6, 2007
Beachgal's Sunbathing Tip - Click here for funny video clips
There are many fantastic, holistic reasons for choosing organic skincare products. The reasons drift from wanting to cut the amount of chemicals on your rind, for your health, rind sensibility or just based on private principals.
The trouble facing most consumers wanting to buy real organic skincare products, quite than those making "organic" claims, is that a measure for the certificate and labelling of organic skincare products is not accessible.
Currently in Australia, the simply organic certificate accessible for skincare products is a general nutrient measure. This requires 95% of all ingredients, new than the water part, to be organically certified. Water mostly makes upward to 70% of overall ingredients in many skincare creams. Therefore 95% of the remaining 30% of ingredients need to be organically certified.
Only a few Australian products have been certified to these really rigorous and sometimes unrealistic rules for nutrient standards. It has been argued by some manufacturers, that to attain the 95% registered valuation is counter fruitful to producing an efficient skin product.
Currently unrecognised are many skincare products with over 50% organic ingredients which cannot be certified, still though they have been manufactured by impassioned organic supporters to the highest healthful and normal principles.
Essentially, to have an ointment for skin, there are two principal components (oil and water) which need to be mixed. A synthetic emulsifier is used to mix the oil and water components. Emulsifiers can have upward to 20% of a component mixture new than water. Hence the snap 22, to have an ointment which truly penetrates and moisturises the profound layers of the skin with lovely organic vegetable and vital oils, you need a synthetic emulsifier. Purestuf uses an emulsifier created from olive oil which is synthesised to organize the emulsifier.
The ointment too requires a preservative, so that it will not get mouldy in your bathroom cabinet. This is one region which truly distinguishes skincare products. The organically impassioned manufacturers take normal preservatives like grapefruit seed distill whereas new manufacturers make chemical preservatives containing parabens and new nasties to their products.
Organic skincare products produced and sold with unity by the impassioned manufacturers target to be available from chemicals such as parabens, formaldehyde, petrochemicals etc. and made from as many normal and registered organic ingredients as potential.
Australian (and almost abroad) manufacturers are not compelled to reveal the percent of organic ingredients in their products. The word organic is not protected by any police about its consumption in terms of marketing claims.
Often these new then called organic products, carry a really reduced percent of organic ingredients and have many chemical additives, which are not better for you or your skin. So what is being done to eradicate the disarray? A group of leading Australian skincare product manufacturers (including Purestuf Natural Skincare) are presently working jointly to devise a measure which can be certified by any one of the 7 Australian healthful certifiers. Until so - learn labels and seem for products which wear't include parabens, petrochemicals, sulphates, fragrances and understandably name the organic ingredients such as vital oils, veggie oils. For the moment being, for consumers it is an issue of instinct, confidence and reading the labels.

Organic Skincare Products
More women are in the marketplace for organic skincare products. The tendency toward organic is growing; Walmart has newly publicized its intent to increase its offer of organic nutrient by 50%, and much folk are extending their stake in organic products to organic skincare products in addition to nutrient. After all, what you place on your system is just as vital as what you place into your system, since it is absorbed into the rind, and organic skincare products job effectively without all of the chemicals, which can induce health problems. Like all organic products, organic skincare products go from all normal products and carry no detrimental chemicals.
Organic skincare products are held to the same standards as organic nutrient products, and the US. Department of Agriculture has newly released guidelines concerning the labeling of organic products. If something is labeled 100% organic, it must carry all organic products. However, if a merchandise is labeled as merely "organic" it can carry upward to 5% of non-organic textile. This tiny percent is frequently not a big worry for most consumers, but for really rigorous adherents to organic products, 5% can have a disagreement in whether they buy the merchandise or not. If the brand says that the products is "made with organic ingredients" it must get at least 70% organic material in it. Depending on how intransigent you are about purchasing organic rind products, you will need to visit the brand before buying. If you are shopping on the network, you can discover away whether or not something is 100% organic by consulting the place or asking the webmaster.
All healthful products, including organic skincare products are made from materials that are grown on land that has been certified as pesticide-free for at least 3 years. Organic skincare products are made without:
· Synthetic pesticides · Insecticides · Herbicides · fungicides · hormones · chemical fertilizers
There has been some talk that the FDA is warning esthetic companies to eradicate harmful chemicals in their products, or their goods will transport labels, related to the admonition labels on cigarettes. Many dyes and new chemicals establish in non-organic cosmetics and skincare products are dangerous and carcinogenic, and as one advocate of healthful skincare products comments, "If you knew what was in your rind ointment or basis, you would never need to get it anywhere near your cheek!" A conventional skincare handling plan places about 100 chemicals on a woman's confront, many of them dangerous. Organic skincare products can operate the same manner, but without the chemicals.
You can discover organic skincare products which:
· exfoliate · cleanse · condition · nourish the skin · hydrate the skin · moisturize · purify the skin
Many healthful skincare products are made from cold-pressed, unrefined oils, herb and blossom extracts and from healthful fruits, nuts and seeds. Peach pits can have a superior exfoliating chaparral to scour asleep rind cells and restore one's complexion. Citrus fruits refresh and resurrect the rind, and clay masks purify the pores. A favorite selection is a cleaner with orange peel oil, calendula and marshmallow. You can too discover an exfoliant with bergmont and orange, or a conditioner made of hazel, burdock, plantain and vitamins. A rosewater spraying hydrates rind that becomes arid from indoor heat in the winter and the sunlight in the summertime.
Many women who take organic skincare products tell that their rind feels still more sweet and sheer after using organic products, and that they do not need to shift to their older non-organic brands. Another reward to using organic skincare products is that, since they are made from plant oil, herbs, flowers and fruit, they frequently mix skincare with a pleasing fragrance. This means that you can mix skincare with aromatherapy. The orange and bergamont rind cleaner not simply refreshes your rind but can hoist your climate as easily.

Natural Men's Skincare

It's a fact. Men's skin is more delicate than women's.
Yep, you heard correct! The regular shaving rite aggravates the skin, destroying the hydrolytic movie on the skin's surface, thereby increasing dryness and reducing the skin's normal security. What's much, men - particularly exterior men - lean to reveal their skin to a harrowing array of damaging conditions including sunlight, wind, water, salt, construction products, chemicals, cuts, scratches, and grazes.
It's no curiosity, so, that the human of today is more afraid about his skin than always before. Like his degree of fitness and health, his dress, and his grooming, a human's skin says a plenty about him. Unfortunately, this new-found consciousness is leading some men to the decision that they should be using their wives' skincare products. This is an error! A human's skin is distinct to a woman's, so it needs to be treated differently.
Why is men's skin not same to women's? Before we may discuss about how natural men's skincare caters to men's unique wants, we need to know what those needs are. Why is men's skin not same to women's skin? There are 4 major differences between men's skin and women's skin:
• Men have thicker skin• Men have oilier skin • Men have more delicate skin • Men's skin has smaller sebaceous glands
Why natural men's skincare ? There is little point by using a product of skincare which is made for a skin of woman. Quality-made natural men skincare addresses the differences between the skin of the men and the skin of women (without skincare of rotation in a painful and interminable drudgery).
The normal men's skincare of quality does not contain the chemicals which strip outside the normal moisture of skin. It does not contain petrochemical products, chemical sulphates, and condoms which can have a hormonal impact. It does not contain artificial perfumes and parabens. In fact, quality natural men skincare contains only the pure and organic ingredients. It is composed of a mixture of essential oils, extracted from vitamin, spices, beeswax, and oils pure which is designed in function the specific needs for a skin of man and an environment and a life style of man.
Consequently, a quality natural men skincare range can encourage a man to peel the less irritated feeling, dries, and irritating. It can maximize the elasticity of skin, and increases the dye. Perhaps in a more important way, it can make him more pleasant good with a contact of woman…
Conclusion as it proves, skincare need for men as much as of the women, perhaps even more. Their skin is more sensitive and it is continuously exposed to the conditions prejudicial. But because a skin of man is thicker and more oily and has smaller glands sebaceous, it needs a range to measure of skincare. Thus when it comes to the skincare not to arrange for second the best. A skin of man needs a normal range of skincare men - a range which reduces dryness and irritation, replenishes natural defenses, enhances skin rejuvenation, and makes his skin all the more touchable…

Whether you're looking for all-out dramatic eyes or a more natural, everyday look, natural lotions and natural creams are wonderful for soothing sensitive skin that has been exposed to too many chemical ingredients. In the USA, a multi million dollar project involving identifying, extracting and purifying native plant compounds for totally natural skincare is currently being developed.
